Anders Frantzen is the Senior Programme Manager for Africa and Asia. Before joining KAICIID, he worked for 10 years with the United Nations, where he served in various political and programme management functions in New York and Vienna, including working with the UN Security Council’s Secretariat and managing projects with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime. Anders has served in conflict areas including the UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan as a political affairs officer, and recently returned from South Sudan where he worked for the UN peacekeeping mission as a reporting team leader covering political, security and humanitarian developments. Anders has studied in Australia, the United States, Spain and Norway and holds a bachelor’s degree in business and economics and a master’s degree in business administration. While working in New York, he also obtained a post-graduate diploma in global affairs at New York University.
