This report contains the recommendations of the 2020 G20 Interfaith Forum which were presented to the G20 Leaders' Summit in Saudi Arabia.
These recommendations were gathered over a period of six months, from June-October 2020, based on the collaborative work of hundreds of religious leaders, policymakers, youth and experts from faith-based and multilateral organizations, academic institutions, and civil society, who came together in six regional consultations and a global Forum.
The report focuses on how religiously-linked and religiously-motivated organizations and networks can contribute to achieving the policy agendas of the G20 process, with a particular focus on addressing the COVID-19 pandemic, advancing peace, fostering common action to protect the planet and empowering people through development agendas that promote education, oppose corruption, empower women and reduce structural inequality and racism.
