11-12 December 2019

120 KAICIID Fellows from around the world discussed in Vienna, Austria the role of interreligious dialogue in achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The sustainable development goals address challenges such as education, gender equality, sustainable communities, peace and justice. The conference was centred on five panels of experts, composed of 33 Fellows alumni and members of KAICIID’s interreligious Board. The initiative reflected KAICIID's aim of making the grassroots experience of activists and religious leaders relevant to the wider human development goals at policymaking level. The event culminated in the graduation of 93 new Fellows from the International, Arab, Europe and South South-East Asia cohorts.
