"NextGen TALKS" Faith in Action: Youth-led Projects Making a Difference #3

Hind HAFUDA
Hind Hafuda, 23, is an artist, cultural mediator, and interfaith advocate from Vienna. Currently studying Arts & Education and Design in Context at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, she works at Weltmuseum Wien as an art and cultural mediator and speaks six languages.
Her artistic and socio-political work explores themes such as postcolonialism, cultural transformation, and interfaith dialogue, using art to challenge perspectives and highlight shared human experiences. She is particularly interested in drawing attention to cultural transformation processes and promoting dialogue between religions and cultures. Hind is a media voice on these topics and actively involved in the Forum Muslim Women Austria and participated in the Vienna Declaration of Muslim Women.
As an MJLC Ambassador for Vienna, Hind co-founded Yalla·City·Walks, Yalla·City·Sports, and Yalla·City·Talks alongside Eidel Malowicki, using movement, conversation, and community engagement to break down barriers between cultures and religions.
Eidel Malowicki
Eidel Malowicki, 23, is a sociology graduate, interfaith advocate, and student spokesperson from Vienna. Raised in a Hassidic Jewish family, she focuses on the sociology of religion and cross-cultural dialogue.
Eidel serves on the board of the Austrian Jewish Student Union (JöH), where she engages in interfaith projects. Her passion for interfaith work also led her to the Likat dialogue project, where she fosters open conversations in Austrian classrooms to break down prejudices. She also teaches Yiddish and works as a tour guide at Stadttempel, Austria's oldest surviving synagogue and for the Austrian Integration Fund (ÖIF).
As an MJLC Ambassador for Vienna, Eidel co-founded Yalla·City·Walks, Yalla·City·Sports, and Yalla·City·Talks with Hind Hafuda, creating spaces where young people can connect across faiths through movement, conversation, and shared experiences.

Tim Mortimer,Programme Officer, Europe Region, KAICIID
As the son of two vicars, Tim has a lifelong curiosity about how faith and belief impact people's lives in different ways. He is an interreligious dialogue facilitator and programmes professional, with a particular interest in youth voice and multifaith social action.
Tim is currently working as a Programme Officer for the Europe Region at the International Dialogue Centre, KAICIID where he supports the Muslim Jewish Leadership Council (MJLC), the European Muslim Leaders Majlis (EuLeMa) and leads on KAICIID’s work with young people in Europe. Previously he led interreligious youth and community programming at the Faith & Belief Forum in his home country, the UK. He is also a Visiting Research Assistant at the Centre for Religion and Public Life, University of Leeds.
