Nouf Al-Abbas has worked in the Public Affairs Department at KAICIID since 2013, first as Department Coordinator and presently as Public Affairs Officer mainly responsible for Social Media. As a dialogue practitioner herself, she plays an important role in establishing the organization’s voice and messages through social platforms to a range of audiences. She crafts content to engage KAICIID stakeholders on social media, including partners, religious communities and youth. She is a core member of the KAICIID team working on the “Social Media as a Space for Dialogue” programme – a training series that KAICIID is implementing across the Arab world. Prior to her work at KAICIID, Nouf worked at CBS Radio in Houston, Texas, and in the Public Relations and Information Department at the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC). She holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management from Webster University Vienna, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Corporate Communications from the University of Houston. Nouf speaks English, Arabic, and Italian. She has basic knowledge of German and Spanish.
