The Oslo Center promotes and enhances democratic practices by strengthening good governance, political institutions, and civic spaces. The organization aims to ensure that democratic systems are responsive to citizen needs, and that they respect meaningful and inclusive participation, human rights, and human dignity.

In 2021, KAICIID signed a Memoranda of Understanding with the Oslo Centre, in honor of both organizations’ commitment to upholding human rights and promoting peaceful, just, inclusive societies.

KAICIID and the Oslo Center are committed to strengthening the efforts of interreligious and intercultural dialogue to tackle major development challenges, ensure policies are people-centred, and that human rights are upheld.
