Reverend Father Asher Yunas, serving in Layyah, South Punjab, Pakistan, is a devoted priest of the Polish National Catholic Church, under the jurisdiction of Poland. The son of a catechist in the Roman Catholic Church, Fr. Yunas began his education at the Holy Cross Middle School in Rahim Yar Khan before completing his secondary education at government schools in Tehsil Khan Pur.

In 1996, he entered St. Mary’s Minor Seminary for his intermediate education, followed by a graduate degree in Philosophy from Urban University of Rome in 2000. Pursuing theological studies further, he attended the National Catholic Institute of Theology in Karachi for two years, then completed his Bachelor of Theology at the Our Lady of Lanka Pontifical Seminary in Sri Lanka in 2005.

Fr. Yunas has a rich background in education, having taught English at the National College of Commerce and conducted refresher courses for private school teachers in Fateh Pur from 2005 to 2007. He furthered his studies in the Philippines, earning a Master of Arts in Religious Studies in 2009 while teaching at Portobello Higher Secondary School in Ormoc. His commitment to youth development and education underscores his lifelong dedication to fostering knowledge and faith.
