Devi Muslianty is a Buddhist scholar and an interreligious activist. Study of Buddhist Heritage and Buddhist Scripture, and Social Engagement Buddhist are the subjects which she is teaching in Smaratungga Buddhist College, where she currently works as a lecturer. She obtained her master's degree at the Center for Religious and Cross-cultural Studies, Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia, and continues her Ph.D research  in the field of Indian Philosophy and Religions at the Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India. As a Buddhist Scholar, Devi Muslianty's current research interests lie in the field of Buddhism and its identities, assimilation, and contestation of the religious space in Klenteng in Indonesia. Her research intersects with religious studies, religious political studies, and history. She is the awardee of the Leadership for Senior Multi-faith Women Leaders from Australia Award - Indonesia. Working in the interreligious area, Devi Muslianty is one of the founders of Youth Interreligious Forum of Solo City, an interreligious platform for children in Solo City (Sobat Anak Solo). She is also a founder of the Buddhist Intrareligious Community in Karanganyar District.
