As KAICIID celebrates World Interfaith Harmony Week (WIHW) in February 2025, we are excited to introduce Faith in Action: Youth-led Projects Making a Difference, the first four episodes of our NextGen Talks webinar series. This youth-focused initiative will showcase groundbreaking interfaith projects spearheaded by the next generation, highlighting their role in fostering inclusive and peaceful societies through innovative interfaith activities.
These four episodes will mark the beginning of a broader conversation, with at least one more series planned later this year and more in the years to come.
Empowering the Voices of Generation Z
Designed specifically for Generation Z (ages 13–28), the first in the series shall comprise four bite-sized, 30-minute webinars running from February 17–28, 2025. Each episode will spotlight an inspiring young leader from one of KAICIID's four focus regions – Asia, the Arab World, Europe, and Africa – who has made significant strides in building bridges across religious and cultural divides within their community. Through their stories, audiences will learn about the challenges they faced, the victories they achieved, and the lessons they hope to pass on.
This series aligns seamlessly with KAICIID’s mission to promote intercultural and interreligious dialogue. It embodies the organization’s commitment to empowering youth as change agents, fostering gender and religious inclusivity, and advancing the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 5 (Gender Equality), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and SDG 16 (Peaceful and Inclusive Societies).
A Platform for Change
The webinar series will provide a unique opportunity for peer-to-peer dialogue, as youth speakers share their experiences, insights, and strategies for success. From tackling social inequalities to leveraging technology for interfaith collaboration, these sessions promise to inspire participants to replicate and adapt these initiatives in their own contexts.

The webinars will also serve as an official contribution to the World Interfaith Harmony Week campaign, which emphasizes grassroots efforts to promote tolerance and acceptance.
Additionally, the insights and stories from these webinars will be immortalized through a range of knowledge-sharing tools, including case studies, short videos, and online resources. These materials will be disseminated via KAICIID’s YouTube channel and other platforms, extending the reach and impact of the series.
