Dr. Charanjit Kaur, an Assistant Professor with two decades of experience, skilled in instructing diverse subjects concerning human societies. With a Ph.D. in Ethnic Studies and degrees in Anthropology and Sociology, her expertise lies in cultural anthropology, with a particular focus on cultural-religious conflict, gender identity, and social treatment within the Sikh minority community in Malaysia. Her scholarly publications, featured in reputable sources, include book chapters, both local and international journal articles, monographs, and newspaper features.

Beyond academia, Charanjit Kaur actively participates in formal interfaith discussions organised by various institutions, including the Ministry of National Unity, Malaysian Institute of Integrity (IIM), Global Unity Network, Malaysian Gurdwara Council (MGC), Institute of Islamic Understanding Malaysia (IKIM), Interactive Muslimah Association (IMAN), Women Interfaith Network (WIN), the Committee to Promote Understanding and Harmony among Religious Believers (JKMPKA), and Quranic Youth Club.

Charanjit Kaur actively participates in interfaith dialogue, leveraging media engagement to share her insights on contemporary Malaysian societal issues. Through platforms like National TV1, TV Alhijrah, and Radio Traxxfm, she exemplifies a steadfast commitment to fostering understanding and dialogue within the broader community. In addition, her expertise has earned global acclaim, receiving invitations as a keynote speaker at significant events, including the First International Conference on Equality, Religious Harmony, and Peace hosted by the International Islamic University Malaysia (2020) and Tzu Chi University of Science and Technology, Taiwan (2017). In October 2023, she was invited by the Muslim Council of Elders to present at the Regional Conference on Climate Change, reinforcing her standing as an expert in the field.

The wealth of experience gained from teaching, publishing, joint ventures, consulting experts, social services, moderation, and panel participation has humbled her and emphasises the importance of a holistic approach to knowledge acquisition and application in fostering a harmonious and enlightened society.
