Mohamed Hisham
Mohamed Hisham is currently the CEO of the ZamZam Foundation, a reputed nonprofit organization, which works on social development, community empowerment and interfaith relationship building initiatives in Sri Lanka.
From 2015 to 2018, Hisham worked as the Deputy Director of the Office for National Unity & Reconciliation (ONUR), a government agency responsible for facilitating the reconciliation process in Sri Lanka, operating under the Presidential Secretariat. He was primarily responsible for communication, outreach and engagement with multiple stakeholders.
Hisham has been actively involved in various civil society movements and programmes focusing on interfaith dialogue, democratic space, social harmony and civic engagement at various levels.
Hisham is also Co-founder & shareholder of Tellida, a boutique Business Process Management firm in Colombo, which is an ISO 27001 compliant company specializing in outsourced Finance & Accounting, Legal Support Services, Contact Centre Services and IT Helpdesk operations.
Previously, he has been a member of the Global Leadership Team of Oxfam International Youth Partnerships (OIYP) initiative. In 2016, he was awarded the Industry Leadership Award for "Outstanding Contribution to the IT-BPO Industry in Sri Lanka" by SLASSCOM, Sri Lanka's premier IT Business Chamber.
