More than 190 international delegates were in Vienna on October 30-31 for KAICIID’s international conference on how to counter the effects of hate speech globally. Around the world, hate speech is on the rise and requires a coordinated response from religious leaders, policymakers, journalists and the general public – both to address the main drivers of hate speech and to provide a coordinated response which upholds the fundamental rights and inclusion of all communities and individuals.
