Chantal Suissa-Runne is a social entrepreneur and the founding director of YOUnite, a social enterprise to promote dialogue and bring people and communities together. Previously she served as the Chief Editor and program lead of the largest interfaith and intercultural multimedia platform in the Netherlands, called New We. She also works as a consultant, project leader and trainer at both the national and international level in various fields like dialogue, conflict resolution, social resilience, interfaith work, intercultural communication, youth and student empowerment, refugee initiatives and the prevention of radicalisation. She has founded several award-winning initiatives including "Getting to Know Your Neighbors", "Mo and Moos", which is a Jewish-Muslim leadership project for young professionals, and “180 Amsterdammers”, which promoted diversity. Chantal has lectured at various universities and schools on diversity and inclusion and the history and reality of migration. She participated as an advisor to the vice Prime Minister in consulting sessions on discrimination, as well as Islamophobia and Antisemitism. In 2015-2016, she worked with the Ministry of Social Affairs to develop a method for “Clashing Constructively” which taught teachers how to discuss current affairs topics in the classroom like terror attacks, conspiracy theories and various forms of discrimination. In her free time she serves as a member of the Muslim-Jewish dialogue group of the Mayor of Amsterdam. She is an active Board Member of the Liberal Jewish Community of Amsterdam, President of its Dialogue Committee, Board Member of the Dutch National Respect Movement, Member of the Advisory Board of the National Interfaith Student Community New Connective and Board Member of the Alumni of the US State Department’s International Visitors Leadership Program.

Tim Fawssett currently heads up Cross Cultural innovation for Scripture Union Australia, based in Brisbane, Australia. This role involves the provision of resources and training for the national movement, mainly in the contexts of state school chaplaincy and holiday programs. A highlight has been the developing of CHAT, standing for “Cultural Hearing Asking Telling”, a dialogue-based system for transforming social engagements between people of different cultures or faiths. This work at SU is founded on Tim’s 8 years as founding CEO of The Feast, a specialised youthwork charity based in Birmingham, in the UK, between 2010 and 2017. The Feast focused on the provision of what they called Youth Encounters, safe spaces for young people of different faiths and cultures to come together to “explore faith, create friendships, and change lives.” These fun events were made possible by the building up trust with each community of young people, and utilisation of highly effective Guidelines for Dialogue to enable participates to relate so well together. During Tim’s time at The Feast the project grew to three additional super-diverse communities in the UK, of Bradford, Luton and Tower Hamlets in East London, as well as into Switzerland and Lebanon. Since his departure from the UK, The Feast has fostered a strong commitment to peacemaking, and has continued to find expressions across the Middle East, North Africa, the US and now of course Australia.

Radia Bakkouch is the president of Coexister in France, an interfaith youth-led movement that offers young people the opportunity to experience diversity in a positive way through a one-year peace education program. Coexister has gathered over 10,000 young people over the past 10 years in 50 European cities and has reached out to more than 120,000 students. Radia is in charge of advocacy, action research and strategic partnerships. She is specialised in peacebuilding, youth empowerment and conflict transformation. She is also a member of the Advisory Board of the Foundation of Islam in France. She previously interned for the Aladdin Project (an NGO under UNESCO focused on Jewish-Muslim relations in the Mediterranean area), as well as Surfing for Peace and the French Embassy in Tel Aviv Israel. Radia graduated with a degree in International Public Management from the Paris School of International Affairs and did an exchange programme at Tel Aviv University where she studied geopolitics, peace and conflicts in the Middle East and worked with several peace initiatives.
