Monitoring and Evaluation of KAICIID Grants
Partnering with organizations and individuals across the globe through grants is one of the approaches in pursuit of KAICIIDs mission to strengthen individual and institutional capacities in interreligious and intercultural dialogue and use the dialogue in addressing contemporary challenges at the local to global level. Both KAICIID and its partners recognise the importance of the results-based management and monitoring and evaluation function as a tool to help strengthen effects of social cohesion and peacebuilding programmes.
The E-Learning course, which has incorporated the experience, materials and approaches developed by KAICIID in the past, will be useful to provide a general framework for the methodological aspects of results monitoring and reporting.
This E-Learning course is primarily intended for KAICIID Programme and partner organizations staff (beneficiaries of KAICIID grants). However, concepts and methodologies presented can be of interest to wider audience as well.
By the end of this course learners will be able to:
- recognise the benefits of strategic grant management and implementation, aligned with organizational objectives;
- describe the key principles of strategic grant management, in particular in design, selection and implementation phases;
- implement strategies to recognize and address conflict of interest and bias in the grant management;
- develop grant monitoring and evaluation tools;
- select and process relevant information for the report on grant scheme/grant implementation.
KAICIID’s E-Learning Programme includes digital knowledge tools, e-learning courses and thematic webinars, which teach dialogue as a tool to solve global issues. All e-learning courses are linked with global initiatives and development goals for sustainable peace. The courses build the capacities of global leaders to address a number of today’s most pressing challenges by using interreligious dialogue to establish ethical policymaking frameworks, support peace processes, and address discrimination and religiophobia at national and local levels. KAICIID e-learning courses are interactive, offered free of charge and are designed to benefit both dialogue professionals and the general public.
This course is composed of two interactive modules that include various examples and activities. It will take approximately 3 hours to complete this self-paced course.
