12 August 2015: A delegation of Japanese parliamentarians visited the headquarters of the International Dialogue Centre (KAICIID). Masaharu Nikagawa, Member of Parliament and Former Minister of Education of Japan and Shinkun Haku, Member of House of Councillors, were welcomed by KAICIID Director General Fahad Abualnasr and Deputy Secretary General for External Relations Ambassador Alvaro Albacete. The parliamentarians were briefed on KAICIID’s ongoing peacebuilding activities. The delegates expressed their support for, and interest in, interreligious dialogue and joined KAICIID in the complete rejection of violence in the name of religion.
