KAICIID expresses its deep concern over the escalation of the conflict in the Middle East and the growing suffering of civilians and communities across the region. We stand in solidarity with all those who are grieving, injured, displaced, and living in fear and uncertainty.

At this critical moment, the protection of human life and dignity must come first. We urge political leaders to choose peace, act with restraint and responsibility, and pursue de-escalation through dialogue and diplomatic engagement.

We also call on religious leaders and faith communities throughout the region to raise a clear and united voice for peace, reject hatred and any misuse of religion to justify violence, and help sustain compassion, solidarity and hope.

KAICIID stands alongside its partners and Fellows throughout the region with its full support and warmest thoughts, and remains committed to dialogue, mutual understanding and peaceful coexistence as the path toward a just and lasting peace.
