Karin Idrogo Estela has a Master's in Human Rights and is characterised by her vocation for service and her ability to listen. She is organised and responsible, with a great interest in learning and sharing her acquired knowledge. She has a great sensitivity and an infinite desire to educate herself in order to be an active agent in the construction of a more just and fraternal world. Currently, she works to promote gender equality and in gender spaces, is a member of the Religions for Peace Latin America and the Caribbean Youth Network, and is part of Talitha Kum in Peru. In addition, she has significant experience in the Peruvian National Union of Catholic Students (UNEC), having held important positions as regional president of UNEC Cajamarca and, subsequently, national president of UNEC in the period 2019-2021. Currently, she plays a relevant role in the Latin American Secretariat as Latin American Secretary for International Catholic Student Movements (MIEC and IYCS). Her theological and human formation includes participation in programmes organised by various institutions, highlighting her commitment to social justice and spiritual formation.

Karin Idrogo Estela cuenta con estudios en Derechos Humanos, se caracteriza por su vocación de servicio y capacidad de escucha. Es organizada y responsable, con un gran interés en aprender y compartir sus conocimientos adquiridos. Posee una gran sensibilidad y un deseo infinito de educarse para ser un agente activo en la construcción de un mundo más justo y fraterno. Actualmente, trabaja en espacios de género, es miembro de la Red Latinoamericana de Jóvenes de Religiones por la Paz, y es parte de Talitha Kum en Perú. Además, tiene experiencia significativa en la Unión Nacional de Estudiantes Católicos (UNEC), habiendo ocupado cargos importantes como presidenta de UNEC Cajamarca y, posteriormente, presidenta nacional de UNEC en el periodo 2019-2021. Actualmente, desempeña un papel relevante en el Secretariado Latinoamericano como Secretaria Latinoamericana para los Movimientos Estudiantiles Católicos Internacionales (MIEC y JECI). Su formación teológica y humana incluye participaciones en programas organizados por diversas instituciones, destacando su compromiso con la justicia social y la formación espiritual.
