Born in 1969 in Tunisia, Dr. Bouajaja Jamel is a professor at the Higher Institute of Islamic Civilization at Zaytouna University, Tunisia. He obtained his doctorate in Arabic civilization from the University of Manouba in 2008.
Dr. Bouajaja participated in a youth course for Euro-Mediterranean cooperation in 2003 held in Stuttgart, Germany. He teaches argumentation and dialogue with others through the Holy Qur’an at Zaytouna University. Additionally, he has authored numerous articles for national newspapers and Arabic magazines and has published scientific articles and books in the field of cultural and Quranic studies.
Dr. Bouajaja is a member of the Research Unit of religious phenomenon at the University of Manouba, where he conducts research in the field of Quranic studies and discourse analysis. He is also an activist on social issues, human rights, dialogue among civilizations, and citizenship.
His guiding motto is "None of you believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself."
