Joseph Habamahirwe
Joseph graduated magna cum laude with his licentiate in sacred theology from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa, Kenya. He has published several books in many languages including Italian, Portuguese, French, English, Russian, Dutch, German, Polish and Spanish. His writings focus on African politics and environmental protection. He is the author of A Theological Remedy for the Environmental Crisis and Emerging From Aborted Liberations for a Free and United Africa. Joseph has translated more than 40 books and also teaches church history and history of religions, which includes interreligious dialogue, at the Catholic University of Rwanda. He does this while holding the position of Projects and International Engagement Manager at the Glorious Cross Ministries. Joseph has conducted several training sessions on peacebuilding and conflict resolution in Burundi and Rwanda. In 2015, he trained young people from various political parties on peaceful coexistence during electoral process.
