Emina Frljak
Emina is the programme coordinator at Youth for Peace, an organization based in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. She also serves as an International Youth Committee Member within Religions for Peace and as a Board member of the European Interfaith Youth Network of Religions for Peace. She holds a BA in educational sciences from the University of Sarajevo, where she is finishing her MA in the same field. She is also doing her second MA in interreligious studies and peacebuilding, a joint programme of three theological faculties (Faculty of Catholic Theology, Faculty of Christian Orthodox Theology and Faculty of Islamic Sciences). Emina has a long-standingrelationship with peacebuilding processes in BiH, but also internationally. She is active in the field of interreligious dialogue through her engagement in Youth for Peace, Religions for Peace and United Religions Initiative. Her expertise includes designing and facilitating educational programmes and her main passion and interest is facilitation of training and workshops, mostly on topics of peacebuilding, dealing with the past, religious traditions and interreligious dialogue. Particular interests are in the field of peace education, interreligious education and citizenship education and she uses social media for education and awareness raising purposes and is currently coordinating an online campaign aimed at countering hate speech.
