Aibek graduated in economics from the Engineering and Technical Academy of Astana. He completed additional training at the Academy of Public Administration Under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He has extensive experience in the public sector, is a representative of the Center for the Development of Interfaith and Inter-Civilization Dialogue – a state structure under the Ministry of Information and Social Development (former Ministry of religious Affairs). He has experience working in government agencies such as the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nazarbayev University, the Central Communication Service under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and defence enterprises of Kazakhstan. He has made a great contribution to the organization of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, the Congress Secretariat as well as other working groups. He is an active member of the Amanat party and was awarded a certificate of honour from the First President of Kazakhstan.
