Beatriz Castro has a degree in Theology from the Bolivian Catholic University and is currently finishing her degree in Philosophy and Literature. She is responsible for interreligious dialogue and ecumenism at the Bolivian Episcopal Conference. Her efforts are focused on strengthening the paths of ecumenical encounters in Bolivia, through local and national initiatives, as well as on promoting spaces for interreligious encounters. She is currently a member of the Council of the International Ecumenical Fellowship, Latin America Region.
