Rev. Paulo Pereira Jr.
Paulo Pereira Jr. is a reformed religious minister/teacher from Sao Paulo, Brazil. Paulo is currently the Director of Theology and Mission at the Latin American and Caribbean Alliance of Presbyterian and Reformed Churches. He is also part of the Editorial Council of the Independent Presbyterian Church of Brazil. Paulo holds a master’s degree in Theology from the Vancouver School of Theology, honoured with the scholarship from the Foundation pour l’aide aux Protestantisme Reformée, the St. Andrew’s Hall, and the VST. With a Master of Divinity (MDiv) from the Sao Paulo School of Theology, and a BA in International Relations from the Pontificia Universidade Catolica-SP, Paulo has held visiting positions at the Corporacion Universidad Reformada (Colombia), the Sa Paulo School of Theology, and served as Faculty Assistant at the VST. Currently, Paulo is leading a cycle of encounters on mission, social justice, and diakonia, called Miradas, with various theological seminaries and students from diverse countries in Africa, North America and Latin America. Paulo trusts that a network of people from different beliefs and backgrounds is an essential step towards the acceptance of others.
