Honorable participants at the High-Level Meeting!

           On behalf of the Muslim Community of Azerbaijan and all Caucasian region I sincerely greet Participants at the conference dedicated to the Promotion of Peaceful Coexistence & Common Citizenship and express my gratitude to His Excellency Mr. Faisal bin Muaammar and all organizers of our meeting in the blessed land of Austria. I pray to the Almighty Allah to make the HLM successful in this noble work aiming to attainment of the godly purposes. It`s my great pleasure to convey the greetings and best regards of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, His Excellency Mr. Ilham Aliyev, to the honorable Participants of this Forum.

           As a newly elected member of the KAICIID International Dialogue Center, I would like to offer my congratulations with all blessings to H.E. the Secretary General, the honorable members of the governing bodies and all the staff on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of this esteemed organization.

           Being an outstanding platform for interreligious and intercultural dialogue, KAICIID is makes really great effort to achieve the up-to-date goal of the modern world. Indeed, the maintenance and preservation of peace which is above all today`s problems, requires close co-operation of state leaders, public figures and religious leaders. The human life is the greatest value created by the Lord, and its salvation goes through humanistic spiritual values inspired by traditional religions, through collaboration and dialogue.

Dear participants of the HLM! Regarding the matter of the peaceful co-existence of peoples of the different cultures and religiouns in one society and the common citizenship I would like to draw your kind attention to the model of Azerbaijan. Мulticulturalism is a lifestyle in our multinational and multiconfessional country. Azerbaijan enjoys a correctly established State-Religion relation. National and religious tolerance, which is one of the UN-backed values, and important elements of civil society and real democracy, is supported at the State level. President Ilham Aliyev considers the ethnic and religious diversity as a national treasure of our country. The democratic rights of people of different ethnic and religious affiliates, including religious freedom, are fixed and ensured by the law.

I believe that such State policy and correctly established State-Religion relation are basic terms of successful multicultural and tolerant environment in society.

As a rare model of inter-religious, inter-confessional solidarity, as well as the solidarity of Islamic madhabs, now Azerbaijan has been considered as one of traditional addresses for global interfaith dialogue. We achieved this thanks to the consistent and thoughtful policy pursued in Azerbaijan.

All traditional religions inspire people to the ​​peace, security, mutual understanding, and brotherhood. Interreligious dialogue serves these values, especially the attainment of peace and reconciliation, which is at the core of all problems. As the representative of Azerbaijan, as the religious leader and Sheikh-ul-Islam, I give my total support to this aim and welcome the steps taken in this direction.

It`s my great pleasure and honor to become a member of this honorable platform. Let the Almighty Creator bless KAICIID Centre in its God-pleasing activities.
