The Executive Committee of the Interfaith Dialogue Forum for Peace (IDFP) met on 16 to 17 February in Abuja, Nigeria. The Committee is the operational arm of the Interfaith Dialogue Forum for Peace that was founded with the support of KAICIID on 26 January in Abuja, Nigeria, to promote peaceful co-existence through interreligious dialogue. The committee meets on a monthly basis to ensure the implementation of the Action Plan adopted by the IDFP in January 2017. This meeting focused on the development of structures of the Forum, its registration with the Nigerian authorities and the development of a roadmap for further engagement. The next meeting is scheduled for end of March.
